Serie A side Bologna have intensified the search for a midfielder to replace Ghanaian Godfred Donsah with recent reports linking Juventus player Thomas Rincon.

Juventus are preparing to sell Tomas Rincon, with Bologna the favourites ahead of Fiorentina, Torino and Atalanta, freeing Godfred Donsah for the Granata.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Rincon’s agent met with the Bianconeri directors this afternoon to discuss the options available to him.

There are proposals from Bologna, Torino, Atalanta and Fiorentina for the former Genoa midfielder.

However, Corriere dello Sport pundit Matteo Pedrosi maintains Bologna are already in advanced negotiations and close to a deal.

This would then free Donsah to join Torino instead, as he is the first choice for Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.

Donsah has been in the news for all the transfer reasons but Bologna were reluctant in releasing him.

However, with the move of Thomas Rincon looking possible, Torino could get their most wanted asset.
