Usain Bolt is set for a trial with Borussia Dortmund on Friday as the Jamaican sprint star will join the Bundesliga club for their public training session.
The 100-metre world-record holder retired from athletics in August 2017 having won eight Olympic gold medals and been crowned world champion 11 times.
Bolt is a huge fan of Manchester United, trained with Mamelodi Sundowns in January and has said in the past he had the skill set needed to become a Premier League footballer.

"With training, I could be good," he said last year. "Me and (Paul) Pogba talk a lot. I watch and ask him a lot of questions. I want to play but it has to be in the top league. I'm not content to be average."
Bolt, wearing a Dortmund shirt, showed off his football skills in a video he posted on social media on Tuesday, and in February, he announced he had signed up to play in a charity football match at Old Trafford in June.
Borussia Dortmund shareholder and kit maker Puma also sponsor Bolt.
