Likuena players are demanding a hike in their camping allowance ahead of their opening 2014 World Cup qualifier against Ghana.

A senior national team player who spoke to Lesotho Times newspaper on condition he was not named said they were not happy with the current M100 allowance whilst in camp.

“We used to get M100 each day as a camping allowance but we feel that it is not enough and needs to be increased,” he told Lesotho Times

“We feel we are expected to compete with teams like Ghana so we deserve to be paid improved allowances for each and every international match we play.

The players are believed to be disgruntled ahead of the clash against the Black Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium.
