Ghana and TP Mazembe winger Solomon Asante returned to full scale training today since picking up an injury in Ghana’s 2-0 victory over Comoros.
The diminutive winger started the game against Comoros but was unable to have a telling effect after pulling a muscle on the 23rd minute.
Fears were that the winger would be out for a long spell, but he has boosted coach Patrice Cartron by returning to full scale training today after scans revealed only minor damages.
Asante is a key member of the Mazembe's side which won the CAF Champions League this season and has been linked with a move away from Congo.
