Asante Kotoko have been powered following the return of lead striker Ahmed Toure to training ahead of their game against Hearts of Oak.

Toure missed Kotoko’s last two league games due to a thigh strain and looked set to miss out on the super clash this weekend when the Champions travel to Accra to take on Hearts of Oak.

The Ivorian has recorded 11 goals in the league despite Kotoko’s below par season and would have been a huge loss if he failed to recover in time to make the game.

Both Kotoko and Hearts find themselves in unfamiliar territory with the Phobians locked on 14 position whiles the Porcupine warriors are just three steps better on 11th position.

The return of Toure to training will delight David Duncan who is aiming to build on his sides impressive victory over AshGold last weekend.
