Herbert Addo has got his first major capture of the season

Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak have secured their first major signing of the season as they have signed former Bolton Wanderers attacker Hamza Abdullahi.

The prolific attacker sealed a three-year contract with the Accra-based giants on Thursday evening.

The move is seen as a strategic decision to counter the setbacks the Phobians have suffered in their bid to sign some to players in he country before the start of the season.

Hearts are still recovered from the shock of losing out of signing Ahmed Toure who was captured by their arch rivals Kotoko even though he had trained with the Phobians.

He will start training with the Phobians on Friday as he has successfully undergone his medicals.

Abdullahi played for Tema Youth, New Edubiase and Wa All before joining Bolton Wanderers.
