Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka has revealed want-away winger Albert Adomah remains part of his plans for Saturday’s game against MK Dons.

Adomah has been pushing for a move away from the club after he clashed with the Spanish tactician.

He returned to Boro’s training this week after international break and the club’s manager says the Ghana international is part of his plans.

"Albert is training with the team so he's another person to choose, another problem as when I go to my desk and we have 22 or 23 good players, it's always hard to choose 18 for the squad and 11 for the pitch,” he told the media on Thursday

“Of course, everyone who is training with me is part of my plans.

"He knows how strong this group is, and everyone has to work hard as the players who are performing well are the players who will play."

The 27-year-old pacey winger had a dressing room disagreement with Spaniard Karanka following the defeat to Bristol City earlier this season.

This led to the former Barnet man being left out of their next games against Burton Albion in the Capital One Cup and the victory at Sheffield Wednesday.

He remained a Boro player at the end of the transfer window and even though Championship rivals QPR and Nottingham Forest expressed an interest in signing him on loan, Karanka insists he won’t be leaving on loan.
