Both Hearts and Kotoko players need luck to excel on Monday – Kwabena Dodzi

Former Asante Kotoko workaholic midfielder Kwabena Dodzi says both Kotoko and Hearts players need luck to excel in the ‘Super Clash’ on Monday.

To him, the tension and pressure involved in playing in such an encounter is capable of swaying a player from performing his best.

He has therefore called on players of both teams to pray for luck to be able to put up their best performance.

“Matches of this nature require a lot of luck. It determines the destiny of many players. So every player must pray for luck before going into the game,” Kwabena Dodzi told Angel FM.

“A very good player can have a bad day and that will affect his career forever.”

“Usually, players get call ups into the senior national team because of their performance in such games. So they must all pray for luck either than that, they can all have bad days,” he added.

Kwabena Dodzi played for BA United last season in the First Capital Plus Premier League but unfortunately disappeared into the wilderness again following the side’s relegation.
