The Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi has revealed that the federation will construct two training pitches by the end of the yearà to help boost quality of play and prevent injuries.
The two pitches will be constructed in two of the most popular football playing cities of Accra and Kumasi as the GFA seeks to help government in its duty of developing sports infrastructure of the country.
The lawyer, who was re-elected into office for a third term, saysà that football association has plans in place to establish the training fieldsà within four months.
"The football association will be constructing two training fields specifically in Accra and Kumasi. It is not going to be a stadium, rather a training field before December 2015", he said on Metro TV.
"It will used by the female clubs and first and second division clubs for their league. We have nine playing centers now and they are not enough. The pressure on them have compelled them toà depreciate. So we will do the two for now," he added.
