According to latest news, French international attacking midfielder Dimitri Payet (29), willing to leave West Ham and join back his home country (specifically Olympique Marseille, former club of his), has just turned down three £500,000-a-week salary offers from as many Chinese Super League clubs (including Manuel Pellegrini's Hebei China Fortune).
Payet is refusing to play for West Ham, and told manager Slaven Bilic he wants to return to France for family reasons. He earns £125,000-a-week at West Ham, and, according to Sky Sports UK, is available to take a pay cut of at least 30 per cent to move back to Marseille. The latter tried to sign him through a £20 million bid, but West Ham are asking for 10 more.
