Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu has made one change to his starting line-up to face Nigeria in Wednesday’s CHAN semi-final with Asiedu Attobrah replacing Richard Mpong.

MTNFootball.com understands Mpong, who has started all of Ghana’s four matches, has been rested due to exhaustion.

Quarter-final hero Kwabena Adusei whose second half penalty gave the Local Black Stars a 1-0 win over DR Congo has been passed fit after picking up a knock.

He will partner Nuru Sulley in central defence with Abeiku Ainooson as right-back and Joshua Tijani on the left.

Yahaya Mohammed and Seidu Bansey start upfront and supported by midfielders Jordan Opoku and Michael Akuffo.

Ghana are seeking a second appearance in the CHAN final by losing to DR Congo in the maiden tournament in Ivory Coast 2009.

Ghana’s starting line-up: Stephen Adams-Abeiku Ainooson, Nuru Sulley, Kwabena Adusei, Joshua Tijani-Jordan Opoku, Michael Akuffo, Asiedu Attobrah, Theophilus Anobaah-Yahaya Mohammed, Seidu Bansey.
