Ghana defender Baba Rahman is undergoing a medical at German top-flight side Augsburg, just a day after grabbing a memorable brace for Greuther Furth in their 5-1 demolishing of Â Nuremberg on Monday night, as he seeks a dream move back to the German Bundesliga, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 20-year-old was whisked away by officials of Augsburg after watching the Ghanaian international put up an impressive performance during the big derby.

He will complete the quicker-silver move to the Fuggerstädter on Tuesday after going through formalities.

The manager of the Bavarian club Merkus Weinzierl has been a long time admirer of the talented ex-Kotoko star but had an initial bid of four millions euros turned down by the Bundesliga 11 outfit.

However, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal that the two clubs have reached an agreement with Rahman expected to stage a dream move back to the Bundesliga this season.

The financial details however have been kept close to the chest of the two clubs according to the website of his parent club Dreams FC.

The former Ghana Under-20 star is undoubtedly one of the finest talents to have emerged from the African country.

He was one of the standout  Ghanaian players last season but shockingly left out of the country's 2014 World Cup squad.

Rahman has now been presented with another opportunity to play at the top level of German football which could prove the catalyst for his breakthrough at  the international level.
