Ex-Ghana international Mohammed Gargo has landed in Sunyani to take charge of BA United after agreeing a short-term deal with the struggling Premier League side.

A statement on the club’s Twitter account confirmed: "Former Black Stars player Mohammed Gargo has been appointed the head coach of the club for the rest of the season."

Gargo, who guided Real Tamale United to the Division One League promotional playoffs last year, replaces Frimpong Manso.

He has had some experience Premier League experience after leading RTU three seasons ago but failed to rescue them.

The ex-Udinese and Genoa star will take charge of his first match on Sunday against Wa All Stars in Ghana Premier League.
