Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman has touched down in London to undergo a medical ahead of the completion of his reported £21m move to Chelsea.

The 21-year-old breezed into the English capital on Tuesday afternoon and is heading straight to an unknown medical facility to undergo the medical according to the Evening Standard.

Rahman was given permission to travel to London after Ausgburg accepted Chelsea's bid for the Ghanaian which will cost the English champions up to £21m.

Chelsea switched talks with Augsburg for Baba Rahman into an overdrive following their thrilling 2-2 draw with Swansea in their first match their English League title defence.

Officials at Stamford Bridge have prepared a five-year contract for the Ghanaian to sign once results from his medical comes clean.
