The Ghana Football Association sets up a three-man committee to select and appoint a technical adviser for the Black Stars ahead of the start of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The decision was taken by the Executive Committee as the GFA seeks to boost the technical bench of the Black Stars following a disappointing at the recent World Cup.

The members of the sub-committee include Ghana FA's Vice President Fred Crenstil, Executive Committee member Fred Pappoe and Ghana FA Technical Director Francis Oti-Akenteng.

The decision to boost the technical bench of the Black Stars with the appointment of a technical adviser was taken at an Executive Committee meeting on Monday.

The issue of the appointment of 'technical help' has flooded the media landscape since Ghana's early exit from the 2014 World Cup.

The Sports Ministry is rumoured to have requested the boosting of the Black Stars technical team when the Ghana FA's top hierarchy held a meeting with Minister Mahama Ayariga almost a fortnight ago.

There were even reports the rumoured move was a plot to force the resignation of coach Kwesi Appiah following Ghana's poor showing at the World Cup in Brazil.

The Ghana FA has now decided to seek the 'technical help' in the appointment of an adviser for the senior national team.

The three-member sub committee is expected to find someone competent enough to be of massive help to coach Kwesi Appiah going forward.

They are expected to present their report to the Ghana FA's Executive Committee next week for further consideration.

Do you think the decision to appoint a technical adviser is good? Do you think he can work well with coach Appiah? Will there be a conflict? Which coach should be appointed? Make your views known in the box below:
