Ghana legend CK Gyamfi dies at age 86

Revered Ghana legend and coach Charles Kumi Gyamfi is reported dead in Accra at age 86.

GHANASoccernet.com understands, he was pronounced dead at the Cocoa Clinic in Accra on Wednesday morning.

Gyamfi is credited for coaching Ghana to win the Africa Cup of Nations on three occasions-a feat which was later equaled by Egypt's Hassan Shehata.

He was the first African player to play in Germany, when he joined Fortuna Düsseldorf in 1960.
