Ghana reached the round of 16 of the U20 World Cup in Turkey on Saturday thanks to the heroics of Egypt who defeated England 2-0.

The Black Satellites narrowly sealed the last place reserved in the second round for the four best third-placed teams in the competition.

The Ghanaians beat Egypt and England to the last place as both countries were in the hunt for the last spot which left Ghanaians sitting on razor's edge.

But Ghanaians up and down the country erupted in joy after the final result of the match between Egypt and England knowing that their country is through.

Despite Egypt picking up their first win of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, courtesy of goals from Trezeguet and Ahmed Hassan, the 2-0 scoreline sees both them and England exit Turkey 2013.

The result sees Egypt leapfrog England into third in Group E, but Ghana's superior number of goals scored means the Black Satellites reach the last 16.

The result sparked talk of justice being served after the Ghanaians showed some championship winning form in their matches against Spain and the United States.
