Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak sacked their British coach Frank Nuttall on Friday night following a board meeting, Ghanasoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The report of the three-man committee investigating an alleged misconduct of the Scottish trainer found of culpable of the offence which resulted in the decision to sack him.

The former Gor Mahia trainer had been suspended by the club’s board after he was accused of advising players not to renew their expiring contract.

Following the findings of the three-man committee, Nuttall has been found guilty hence the club’s decision to terminate his contract.

Nuttall joined the Phobians last season on a two-year deal.

He led the club to finish 3rd in the 2017 Ghana Premier League, they were also in the FA Cup final but lost 3-1 to their bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko and lost the 2018 GHALCA G8 trophy to Dreams FC.

The Scotsman was fingered for the exits of Thomas Abbey, Vincent Atingah, Kwame Kizito and Leonard Tawiah.

Defender Robin Gnagne is said to have left the club to seek a deal abroad.

Also, it has been alleged that he advised some of the players abandon their agents to sign for NM Football Consultancy owned by  his fellow countryman Neil Murray.

NM Football Consultancy on Tuesday announced the signing of star man Winful Cobbinah but later deleted the Tweet.

Nuttall admitted his guilt when he was questioned at a board meeting last Monday when confronted with the evidence.

Hearts of Oak have set up a three-member committee chaired by Dr Nyaho-Nyaho Tamakloe with Ivy Heward-Mills- a former Hight Court judge- and Frank Nelson as members.
