Newcomer Godfred Donsah has been ruled out of Ghana's 2017 Nations Cup qualifier against Rwanda after suffering a shoulder injury on his Bologna debut on Saturday.

His shoulder removed on 55 minutes as Bologna lost 1-0 at home to Sassuolo.

The 19-year-old will stay out for ten days and that sidelines him for the matches against Congo, a friendly in Brazzaville on 02 October and then the trip to Kigali to face Rwanda in the Group H qualifier.

Donsah, who earned a debut call-up from Avram Grant, was included in a 24-man squad for the double assignments.
