Sobber Soulama Abdoulaye plays down bribery allegations in Super Clash howler

Published on: 03 May 2016

Hearts of Oka goalie Soulama Abdoulaye has played down talks of taking bribe in the Super Clash game with Kotoko resulting in their 0-1 loss.

The Burkinabe goalie failed to trap a back-pass from center-back Richard Akrofi which resulted in the only goal for the Porcupine Warriors.

And the former Kotoko goalie says Hearts fans must take away the issue of bribery as being alleged.

“I give everything to Almighty Allah. It is a mistake I admit but to say I have taken bribe is bad,” Soulama told Nhyira FM in Kumasi.

He called on the playing body to forget about the incident and focus on their next game.

“The game is over. We shall prepare for our next game and In Sha Allah we will make the supporters happy again,” he added.
