BREAKING NEWS: Nuru Sulley guides Alanyaspor to Turkey Super Lig qualification

Published on: 27 May 2016

Ghana defender Nuru Sulley has guided Alanyaspor to secure qualification into the Turkish top flight following their 3-1 win over Adana Demirspor on penalties.

The entire duration of the game ended 1-1 compelling the game to run in extra time.

Both teams held on to the scoreline after extra time compelling the game to move into penalty shoot outs.

Alanyaspor converted three spot kicks out of five while Adana converted only one to give the Alanya side the ticket for the 2016/17 Turkish Super Lig.

Alanyaspor failed to secure straight qualification into the Super Lig after the regular sesason compelling them to go into play-offs.

Sulley's side pipped Belikirspor by a lone goal in the second semi final play-off to book a ticket with Adana Demirspor in the finals.

The win means another Ghanaian, Joseph Atama Larweh could not secure entry into the Super Lig as he starred for Adana.

Nuru Sulley will be one of a few Ghanaian players to play in the Turkish top flight next season.
