Youthful Roy Arthur unseats MNS Doe as Central Region FA chairman

Former BA United CEO Roy Arthur has dethroned MNS Doe as the Central Region Football Association chairman by just two votes in Thursday’s election.

Arthur, who contested on the ticket of Great Astronomers FC, polled 26 votes as against Doe's 24 at the election which took place at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Doe has been in-charge of football in the region for 25 years.

Arthur gets to represent the region on the Ghana FA Executive Committee.

In a related development, Kojo Yankah has retained his position as Chairman of the Western Regional FA.

Delegates endorsed him unanimously after he contested unopposed in the elections held on Thursday.
