Bristol City winger Adomah set for Ghana call-up

Posted On Friday, 22nd July 2011

Bristol City winger Albert Adomah is set to been handed his first call-up to Ghana’s national team, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 23-year-old is among players being considered for the Black Stars friendly against Nigeria in London next month, a GHANAsoccernet source within the Ghana FA has revealed.

Adomah, City’s player of the year last season, caught the eye of Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic with his performances.

Even Black Stars assistant manager Kwasi Appiah monitored the player some weeks ago and he is set to be given the chance to impress in London.

With Kevin Prince Boateng out of the game and Opoku Agyemang struggling to be fit from the nagging knee injury, Adomah could get his big career break with the Black Stars.

Adomah recently signed a new three-year contract at Ashton Gate.

    Owusu-Abeyie need to impress before he gets a call up. He wasn’t good last season for Malaga but Adomah was exceptional for Bristol City hence why he gets a call up. If you perform then you get called up, simple as that!

  3. Skilful says:

    I hope he performs when giving the chance

  4. Broohm says:

    @JNR
    what aba JP, OLELE, JM, Agyemang B.
    If we were to base entirely on club performances, then I be you not even… Wud hav bn selected

  5. Ghana should try and beat nigeria again that will make Ghan proud all over. The coach should invite competent players who are fit , becouse Nigerians are taking this match as world cup final , they were bosting a lot throuth one of they are sport newspaper.So we should disgrace them again.
