Brothers Andre and Jordan Ayew return to respective English clubs after international duty with Ghana

Ghanaian brothers Andre and Jordan Ayew have returned to their respective English clubs after helping their native country record a 1-0 win over Rwanda in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier over the weekend.

Andre, who has enjoyed a fabulous start at Swansea City dropped off his younger brother in Birmingham after the duo played a role in Ghana’s triumph over the Amavubi Stars on Saturday.

“After a hard week.Time to go back to our clubs.Taking off for Swansea then dropping lil bro @jordanayew9 in Birmingham.” he tweeted.

Andre Ayew captained the Black Stars in the absence of Asamoah Gyan as Mubarak Wakaso’s brilliant free-kick separated the two sides at the packed Amahoro stadium.

The 25-year-old is expected to continue his blistering form for the Swans as they travel to Watford on Saturday while Jordan Ayew’s Aston Villa travel to the King Power stadium to face Leicester City on Sunday.
