Newly-promoted English side Burnley are making last minute attempt to sign Ghana wideman Albert Adomah from Middlesbrough.

Teamtalk.com have reported the 28-year-old is being tracked by The Clarets with a view of taken advantage of his current situation.

Adomah has turned down a contract extension at the Riverside amid reports he's unhappy at his bench warming role in recent times.

The Ghana international has turned down a move to Championship side Aston Villa to give Burnley massive hope of landing the wideman.

Burnley are hoping the opportunity of staying in the Premier League and regular first-team football will boost their chances of landing the former Bristol City winger before Wednesday’s deadline.
