There were three Ghanaian players in action on Saturday night when Sudanese side Al Merreikh hosted Esperance of Tunisia in their CAF Champions League 1/8th stage first leg clash.
Al Merreikh had former Ghana Premier League MVP Augustine Okrah and Francis Coffie named in their starting line-up.
And Esperance featured Ghana international right-back Harrison Afful.
But it the former duo- Okrah and Cofie- who smiled at the end of the whole kit and caboodle with a slim 1-0 win.
The return leg will be played in a fortnight in Tunis.
