Medeama began their CAF confederation Cup Group stage campaign on a disappointing note following a 3-1 defeat at TP Mazembe on Sunday.
The ambitious Ghanaian side made a bright start by taking the lead after on four minutes through Malik Akowuah.
Influential midfielder Akowuah shocked fans in Lubumbashi by putting Medeama ahead with a neat strike in the fourth minute.
But Rainford Kalaba restored parity in the 21st minute for Mazembe before Salif Coulibally headed home on the stroke of half time.
The Yellow and Mauves would have ended the first half with avalanche of goals in their basket
had it not been for goalkeeper Muntari Tagoe who made loads of saves.
Ghanaian duo of Solomon Asante and Daniel Nii Adjei were in superb form as they played key roles in the Ravens commanding win.
Medeama's next match will be against MO Bejaia at the Sekondi Sports Stadium on 29 June.
