Cagliari ace Godfred Donsah desperate to play for Ghana at 2015 FIFA World Cup

Cagliari whiz kid Godfred Donsah is itching to play at next month's 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup for Ghana.

The box-to-box midfielder has been named in the provisional 35-man squad for the tournament.

But the 18-year-old, who is a regular for the relegation-threatened Serie A side, would be released for the pre-tournament camping.

He posted on Twitter: “Desperate to play for the Black Satellites at the FIFA World Youth Championship. Thanks to @ghanafaofficial.”

Donsah has battled injuries in the second half of the season but managed 18 league appearances and scored two goals.
