Carlisle boss Keith Curle insists he wonââ¬â¢t rush into handing Ghanaian striker Derek Asamoah a season-long contract at the English side.
The in-form striker, aiming to continue his run of four goals in five games, is with the Blues until January 4.
Curle admits the Ghanaianââ¬â¢s form has been impressive but is keen to ensure that any further deal for Asamoah continues to contain performance-based incentives.
ââ¬ÅAnything we offer Derek has still got to be heavily laden with targets,â⬠the Carlisle boss said.
ââ¬ÅIf I give him a contract now until the end of the season does that mean he wonââ¬â¢t score again?
ââ¬ÅWe want to give players rewards and when they get them.
ââ¬ÅNext for Derek is can he score two goals in a game? Then he earns even better money than scoring one.ââ¬
