Celtic fans would ‘turn out in numbers’ for USA clash with Dundee - Griffiths

Celtic's Leigh Griffiths is confident a Scottish Premiership meeting with Dundee in the USA would attract a strong crowd.

Negotiations are underway for a potential league fixture to be held in North America and Bhoys striker Griffiths has backed the possibility, suggesting that the Glasgow giants would have the backing of their overseas faithful.

"If we get the chance to go there it will be a great opportunity for us," said Griffiths.

"When you're going to America you're going to play in front of a massive crowd.

"We've got a worldwide fan base and I think the Celtic fans over there will turn out in there numbers.

"It gives us a chance to go and show what we can do and put us on the map a little bit."
