Manager Ronny Deila believes that Mubarak Wakaso will strengthen the Celtic squad with his experience following his arrival at the Scottish side.
The Ghana international joined the Scottish champions yesterday on a season-long loan deal from Russian outfit Rubin Kazan.
Deila said that he has been scouring the market for a hardworking winger who will add speed to the Hoops’ attacking threat and the 24-year-old fits the bill.
He further added that Wakaso is an experienced international and will strengthen the Celtic squad with his presence.
“We've been looking for speed and hardworking wingers, with good deliveries and he is a good player with good experience as well”, the Norwegian told the club’s official site.
“He will be a new player coming into the squad who will strengthen us and I’m looking forward to seeing him on the pitch.”
The 24-year-old has 19 international caps and was in Ghana’s squad for this summer’s World Cup.
