Berekum Chelsea coach Steve Pollack admits his side faces a nervy start in their opening Premier League game against Mighty Jets on Sunday.

With an array of stars at his disposal, the defending champions are under some sort of pressure to begin their title defence on a blistering note.

Ex-Ghana internationals Baba 'Armando' Adamu and Charles Taylor are among a host of top-notch players who will bring a lot to bear on the team.

The Brit admits his side is nervous in their opening game of their title defence.

"We're the defending champions and surely there is some amount of nervousness because we must start on a positive footing," Pollack told GHANAsoccernet.com

"The other teams in the league are very much determined to stop us and so there is more work to be done to sustain our form.

"I have absolute respect for our opponents and I believe this season will be much tougher and keenly contested that the previous season."
