CHAN 2016 Qualifiers: Local Black Stars coach names Division One League top scorer Bright Lukman in provisional 30-man squad

Local Black Stars coach Maxwell Konadu has named Division One League top scorer Bright Lukman in his 30-man squad for next month’s 2016 CHAN qualifier.

Lukman bagged 29 goals to help Ebusua Dwarfs seal promotion to next season’s Ghana Premier League from Zone II.

He is among four players from the second-tier league who have been called up in the provisional squad.

Leonard Owusu of Dreams FC, Joel Fameyeh (Asokwa Deportivo) and Isaac Amoah (Amidaus) were invited.

Ghana Premier League champions AshantiGold and Asante Kotoko dominate the squad with four players each.

All invited players are expected to arrive at the Len Clay Stadium at 4pm on Sunday to start preparations.

Ghana will host Ivory Coast on 18 October in the first leg tie with the return leg to be played in Abidjan two weeks after.
