Chelsea cruised to a 3-1 victory at Huddersfield Town on Tuesday to temporarily go level on points with second-placed Manchester United.

Tiemoue Bakayoko, Willian, and Pedro scored to pace Chelsea, who caught United ahead of their home game against Bournemouth on Wednesday.

Willian played in Bakayoko on an overlapping run in the 23rd minute, and the Frenchman slotted home to provide the opener.

Two minutes before the break, Willian got a goal of his own by heading in Marcos Alonso's cross, and Pedro added Chelsea's third five minutes into the second half by slotting home from 16 yards,

Huddersfield then got a consolation goal in stoppage time when Laurent Depoitre headed home with the final touch of the game.
