CHELSEA, Hazard: \"My last season was a failure, and I\'m staying put. Conte? Happy to play against him\"

Interviewed by RTBF, Chelsea and Belgian national team star winger/half-forward Eden Hazard (25) talked about the troubled season he's just spent, the Euro 2016 campaign he's engaged in (looking forward to face Italy), and his forthcoming future:

"I admit it, last season was a real failure for me. I've been suffering from small injuries, which caused me poor physical fitness. My bad terms with Mourinho? I'd have honestly never wanted him to be sacked. Anyway, I'm staying in London, my contract with Chelsea is still a long one.

Antonio Conte? I'm happy to play against him in the first game, so I can show him what I'm capable of from the start, so he knows he can count on me for next season.

We studied Italian team, we are aware of their skills, as well as of their weak sides. They can't sure dispose of the best roster in their last 15 years, but they've got a very good head coach. It will be an interesting match".

Hazard, currently on a deal with Blues until June 2020, has been repeatedly linked to a possible Real Madrid move.
