According to the Sunday Times is not so sure that Antonio Conte will the next Chelsea permanent manager.
The English newspaper reports that Blues directors recently met Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettinoâs representatives and they got a good feeling at the end of these meetings.
Chelsea were impressed by the Argentinian coach’s ability to bring through young players at Tottenham and also by his previous job at Southampton.
Pochettino and Spurs are currently in the title race with Leicester and Arsenal and, of course, it won’t be easy for Chelsea to sign him from their worst London rival, that could mean a big cost in terms of compensation.
