Baba Abdul Rahman's future at Bundesliga outfit Schalke O4 appears to be in the balance after new signing Amine Harit was handed the number 25 jersey instead of 14.

The French international wore number 14 at both youth levels of the national team and former club FC Nantes.

Upon his arrival at Gelsenkirchen, he requested for jersey number 14 but manager Christian Helden told him he can't have it.

The Ghanaian left back chose shirt number 14 when joined on loan from English giants Chelsea FC.

The loan expired on 30th June, 2017 but the departure of Sead Kolasinac left room for rumours Baba will stay on for another loan spell.

Amine Harit's failure to land the number 14 shirt has open possibilities the former Augsburg defender could remain at the club.
