Chelsea are eyeing Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The London Evening Standard says Aubameyang has emerged as a leading candidate to solve Jose Mourinho's striking problems in January.
Chelsea's three recognised strikers - Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao - have between them scored just four Premier League goals this term, prompting speculation Mourinho will make a major play in the New Year.
Names like Harry Kane and Antoine Griezmann have been tossed around, while Emmanuel Adebayor and Robin van Persie have been suggested as short-term solutions to Chelsea's offensive problems.
