Chelsea are set to announce the transfer of Augsburg’s Abdul Baba Rahman imminently, according to reports.
The Blues have been tracking Rahman for most of the summer as they look to replace Filipe Luis following his transfer back to Atletico Madrid.
And despite reports that a £17.5million offer has been rejected in recent days, Bild newspaper in Germany says Chelsea are now close to bringing him to England – with an announcement imminent.
Jose Mourinho confirmed on Friday he was looking to bring in another full-back, and now the 21-year-old looks to be that man.
Augsburg were publicly saying last month they wanted £21.2m to sell their star asset.
