Chelsea to deliver Real Madrid target Courtois massive new deal

Chelsea are ready to offer Thibaut Courtois a new contract.

Courtois will be offered a new £200,000-a-week deal to fend off interest from Real Madrid, says the The Sun.

The shotstopper has become one of the La Liga giants' top targets along with Manchester United's David de Gea in their search to find a new long-term goalkeeper.

Bernabeu chiefs believe the Blues stopper, who spent three seasons in the Spanish capital with Real's rivals Atletico, could be tempted to return to the city.

But Stamford Bridge officials are putting together a new bumper deal for the star to keep him at the club for many years to come.

The 24-year-old has kept 17 clean sheets for club and country this season.
