CHELSEA youngster Solanke to pen a new deal

Chelsea youngster Dominic Solanke is on the verge of putting the pen to paper on a new deal at Stamford Bridge, according to Squawka.

The 19-year-old forward, who made just one appearance in the Premier League 2 with Chelsea so far, reportedly asked for £50,000 a week in wages but will accept a lower deal.

Solanke was selected by manager Antonio Conte for the clash against Leicester City last week, but did not make his debut.

The England U21s international is contracted at Stamford Bridge until June 2017.
