Chelsea's N'Golo Kante exits France game with apparent hamstring injury

N'Golo Kante pulled up for France in the first half on Saturday.

Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante left France's World Cup qualifier against Bulgaria with an apparent injury on Saturday.

Kante was holding his hamstring on his left leg when he was taken off 34 minutes in the game. He was replaced by Adrien Rabiot with France already leading.

The loss of Kante could be another injury blow to Chelsea, who are already without injured striker Alvaro Morata.

Chelsea resume play after the international break away to Crystal Palace on Oct. 14, then host Roma in the Champions League four days later.

If France hold on to win on Saturday, they will just need to beat Belarus on Tuesday to lock up their World Cup spot, though Sweden remain on their heels in UEFA qualifying Group A.
