Ghana midfielder Yusif Chibsah beliefs playing in defence will make him a better all-round player.

The 29-year-old has been playing as a right-back from his preferred midfield position at his Swedish club Djurgarden IF.

The ex Asante Kotoko player however says he has no problem slotting-in in defence to help his team while aiding his versatility.

“In our last game the coach decided to use me at right-back and he was happy with my performance there,” he told Melody FM.

“We have a game today too which I will be playing at right-back again.

“Personally, I don’t have any problem, it makes me a better player as it gives me more options.

“We were in Finland for a three-day tournament where I even played as a center back in one of the games, so I am happy with it.”

Chibsah has won a regular spot since arriving at Stockholms Stadion last year from fellow Swedish top flight club Gefle IF.
