Ghana striker David Accam has been named in the Major League Soccer Team of the Week after scoring in Chicago Fire's 1-1 stalemate against Columbus Crew.
Accam, 26, bagged his first goal of the season as Fire managed to sniff off a point from Crew in the opening MLS clash last weekend.
The Ghana international has been credited for his fine display after being named in the team of the week.
The Ghanaian won MVP after his sublime performance and will be in line ahead of the clash their home clash against Real Salt Lake at the weekend.
