Ghana winger Christian Atsu could be enduring more sleepless nights at Bournemouth over his failure to break into the Cherries's squad for the Premier League game one more time.

The on-loan Chelsea attacker, 23, has publicly spoken of his frustrations over failing to make the grades for Bournemouth's Premier League games since the start of the season.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe seems to have written off the former FC Porto starlet for the Premier League grades but has used him in both of their League Cup wins over Hartlepool United and Preston North End.

Atsu joined the Premier League debutantes from Chelsea after suffering similar fate at Everton last season when manager Roberto Martinez started him once just once and introduced him four times in substitutes appearances for his Toffees side.

The player has spoken of his frustrations over his lack of show at Bournemouth and mentioned he is tired of going on loan. However his stats at Everton and Bournemouth will limit any chances Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will recall him to his underperforming Chelsea side and assure him of a regular first team place.

His last loan spell out of the Premier League yielded results as he scored five league goals in 28 appearances for Vitesse Arnhem in the Dutch top-tier league.
