Ghana winger Christian Atsu says he is already settling into his new club Bournemouth due to the immense support of the coaches.

The 23-year-old has joined the Cherries on a season-long loan deal from giants Chelsea.

This will be the third successive loan spell for the Ghana international since joining the Blues in 2013 from FC Porto.

Atsu’s debut season in the Premiership failed to yield significant results as he struggled for regular first team action at Everton last term.

The skillful Ghanaian is now looking forward to better days at Bournemouth where he is even eyeing his first Premiership goal.

"Getting to a new club is not easy...You have to work really hard and make new friends which is also difficult, but I am trying,” Atsu said after joining Bournemouth for pre-season training on Thursday.

“I think with Bournemouth, they're really friendly and their coaches are supportive.

“This season I am trying to work hard and get into the game, and to score my first Premier League goal."
