Ghana winger Christian Atsu is delighted to finally make his debut for English Premier League AFC Bournemouth following a month absence.Â
The 23-year-old Chelsea loanee had been sidelined by a back injury and missed all three of Bournemouth's Premier League opening games but made his debut in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday as the Cherries hammered Hartlepool 4-0.
The former FC Porto starlet is thrilled to make a winning debut for Eddie Howe's side as he took to Twitter to express his delight over his official debut.

Howe will have to tinker his squad to imbibe the 2015 AFCON Best Player Award winner who showed a lot of promise at the Gigg Lane on Tuesday night as he lasted 75 minutes.
Bournemouth will be chasing the first ever two straight wins in the Premier League on Saturday as they welcome Leicester City to the Vitality Stadium and manager Howe is likely to hand Atsu who played last season at Everton a place in his squad for the game.
Leicester City are also cruising as they have not tasted defeat in their opening three games, winning two and dropping two points at Sunderland during the weekend.
Schlupp is a sure starter for Leicester City and is likely to face his international team-mate who is likely to start from the Bournemouth bench.
Atsu has accumulated just 110 Premier League minutes in 5 games for the whole of last season and will be hoping to improve his stats at Bournemouth this season while Schlupp on the other side was voted Leicester City's Players' Player of the Year following his dazzling performance last season.
Both players are expected to be named by Ghana coach Avram Grant in his squad to face Rwanda in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers next month.
