Christian Atsu unsure about Porto future

Ghana midfielder Christian Atsu says he is yet to learn his fate at Portuguese side FC Porto.

But the youngster cannot be loaned to another Portuguese top flight side due to a Portuguese Football Federation rule.

Porto were hoping to loan him out but with the current rule, the club must keep him or loan him out to a club outside Portugal.

The 20-year-old has joined the Dragons for pre-season and scored in their 7-0 drubbing of Valadares in a pre-season warm-up game on Saturday at the Olival.

"I don't know for now because of the new rules. I'm waiting for the officials to decide where I will play next season because of the new rules," he said.

Atsu who earned his Ghana debut in June, spent last season on loan at Rio Ave where he netted six times in 27 appearances.
