Inter Allies coach Herbert Addo is out of contract after helping the side finish an impressive 6th in their debut campaign in the Premier League.

The seasoned Ghanaian trainer joined the Tema-based club halfway through the season at a time the side looked destined for demotion.

Addo however used his experience to guide the talented players pull away from the drop zone and to finish 6th in their first ever season in the Ghanaian top flight.

The ex Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko coach’s contract with Inter Allies expired with the end of the season.

His sudden availability have put some clubs on alert but Inter Allies’ Chief Executive Officer Delali Senaye says the club intends renewing the coach’s stay.

“Mr. Herbert Addo’s contract was up to the end of the season so he is currently out of contract,” he told Metro FM.

“But we at Inter Allies always look to do things professionally so we will sit down with the coach and see what we can come up with.

“He did very well with the team and we hope to see him continue.”

Inter Allies are in with a chance to cover themselves in even more glory as they face Premier League champions Asante Kotoko for the FA Cup title on Sunday.
