Head coach of Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs, J.E. Sarpong has blasted Chelsea players after the club's 4-0 thumbling of Maccabi Tel Aviv for denying Ghana defender Baba Rahman passes for him to exhibit his full potential.

The former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko manager believes that Baba Rahman was denied the ball on numerous occasions when he runs to space expecting the ball and that Jose Mourinho must talk to the other players to understand that they are working like a team.

Speaking in an interview with GHANAsoccernet.com, coach J.E. Sarpong said "I watched the match and Baba was not really tested."

"What I detected during the game was that his Chelsea team mates were not given him the balls anytime he positions himself well for it. It seems the players do not know how he plays but Mourinho must make them understand that they are a team and must play as such," he added.

"Even when Baba had positioned himself well for a pass, you see the team mates putting the ball at a very difficult angle where he needs to struggle before he gets the ball. It doesn't auger well for team building," he concluded.

Baba Rahman, 21, played the full throttle for Chelsea in their champions league game on Wednesday at the Stamford Bridge to his debut appearance for the English Champions.
